Hassayampa Academic Village, an ASU residence hall built in 2007, offers Viola Congress and Competition guests the option for 4-night, 7-night and 8-night stays on campus. Rates range from $120 (double occupancy) for 4-nights, to $220 (double occupancy) for an 8-night stay.
Located at the intersection of McAllister and Apache Roads, Hassayampa Academic Village is a short walk to the ASU School of Music and Gammage Auditorium. This facility is also serviced by the FLASH bus, a shuttle service that runs ten minutes around the ASU campus and downtown Tempe. Rooms are designed in a suite fashion with a shared toilet and shower. Amenities include: 24-hour campus security and front desk services, laundry facilities, vending machines, and air conditioning. Meals are not available with this package. A list of nearby restaurants will be included in registration confirmation packages.

Each hotel has a limited number of rooms set aside at the special 36th IVC rate, so attendees are encouraged to make reservations as soon as possible.
While both hotels are within walking distance of the ASU campus, each venue also has a “Flash Forward/Flash Back” shuttle stop nearby. The “Flash Forward/Flash Back” service is a free local area shuttle serving ASU and downtown Tempe. Buses run approximately every ten minutes. All “Flash” shuttles are wheelchair accessible.
Finally, as an additional resource for possible lodging while in Tempe, one might contact the Tempe Chamber of Commerce. The TCC is ready to provide recommendations to potential tourists regarding lodging, shopping, regional activities, and so forth.
